Harissa Patatas Bravas

Shopping List

  • Fingerling potatoes (peeled)
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • Salt
  • Olive oil


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and place a baking sheet in the oven. Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a heavy skillet until it begins to shimmer. Add the peeled potatoes and cook evenly on all sides until golden brown. Remove the potatoes to a paper towel-lined plate for a moment to drain the excess oil and season with salt. Remove the hot baking sheet from the oven, and evenly place the potatoes on the sheet and bake until crisp (about 10 minutes). Remove the pan and season the potatoes with a bit more salt. Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with the harissa aioli and then paprika.

  • 3/4 cup prepared mayonnaise
  • 1/2 harissa hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
